Book #1 from the series: The Captive Trilogy

A Queen for the Devil

Captive 1

About

Format: eBook

POV: First Person

Short Blurb

Vanessa Wesley was the heiress who thought nothing could touch her—Texas money, London polish, a face brands would kill for. Then Jake Gordon stepped behind the camera.

One flash and she was on her knees in a story she never meant to live.

Kidnapped. Broken. Remade. And from her ruin, she rose beside him to build Captive Studios—an empire where Hollywood bowed and sinners learned to worship.

Long Blurb

Vanessa Wesley was raised to perform—on red carpets, in campaign shoots, beneath a mother who bought and sold her future like a product line. She was a billboard. A brand. A pawn dressed in silk and pearls.

Until Jake. Her father’s hired photographer. A devil twice her age. Tattooed in a way that wasn’t human. Sinful in a way that should be illegal.

He stole her from a shoot and locked her in his studio. He didn’t just strip her—he cracked her. He shattered every manufactured truth she’d ever been fed.

In Jake’s world—where adult films are made and “no” doesn’t exist—Vanessa discovers who she truly is.

Not a captive, but a captor.

She learns the language of ropes, scripts, cameras, and cash. She becomes the queen of a rising pleasure empire—rewriting the adult film industry into a crew-driven, Hollywood-adjacent powerhouse. But can she keep her empire and her heiress life at once? Or will the industry devour her before she even finishes her first act?

A Queen for the Devil.

Praise for this book

A Queen for your Pleasure.
Right from the start, Captive captivates with a narrator who speaks with authority and an interesting perspective on her life. I was pulled into her situation and dazzled by her situation. The pace is fast and everything about this story dazzled from the dialogue to the plot to the sexy scenes. I can't find a bad word to say about this one.

Beautifully written, brutally dark, and utterly addictive.
A Queen for the Devil is not your typical romance—it’s a dark plunge into obsession, control, and desire that lingers long after you finish the last page. L. Lianne Olivo’s writing is razor-sharp and hauntingly atmospheric. The prose doesn’t just tell a story; it creates a mood that is claustrophobic, sensual, and deeply unsettling in the best possible way. What I loved most is how unapologetically dark this book is. It doesn’t sugarcoat, it doesn’t play safe—it grips you, unsettles you, and dares you to keep reading. For anyone who craves billionaire romance with a truly pitch-black twist, this is an unforgettable ride.

My favorite author.
I’m so glad I got to see more Vanessa and Jake! I loved the original version of this sorry, but I love the new version so much more. I love how fierce was in the original book and it’s just amplified more here. I love that we get more details on her and her life as well as with Jake. The writing is still so incredible. I adored and highly recommended the original and it’s the same for the newest version as well. I highly recommend this series and this author! I’m so glad to have been gifted a copy of the book.
